Space Astronomy Summer Program (SASP) - Our Space Astronomy Summer Program (SASP) program will be on hold for 2021 while we are preparing for the launch of the James Webb Space Telescope and during our current Highly Restricted On-site Presence at the institute due to the COVID pandemic .  

STEM Development Program - STScI is able to support local Baltimore area students throughout the school year.  Visit our STEM Development portal to provide more information about yourself and the type of internship you are looking for!   The STEM Development Program prioritizes requests from students, schools, and organizations located in Baltimore, MD and the surrounding areas.  Please note that the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted our ability to fulfill some requests and the safety of our staff is our top priority at this time.
