In 2022, our activities will always be hybrid (virtual and in person) unless otherwise noted.

Monthly group meeting

We plan on holding monthly group meetings with the duration of one hour. The exact date is to be determined. We request that STScI postdocs, staff or faculty attend at least 70% of the meetings to be considered part of the group. The structure of the meeting consists on:

1. News and announcements
2. Highlights of interesting papers seen on arXiv
3. Research highlights from group members (1 slide per person who wants to present)
4. New projects or requests for particular expertise on ongoing project

Yearly Science Jamboree

This is a one-day event to be held every Summer where we showcase the science happening within our umbrella. It can be a science idea you’ve been working on, or a set of subjects you would like to work in. The Jamboree will also include clouds of ideas to work on (e.g., via post-it notes), and other collaboration activities. Stay tuned for more details in the near future! Exact date for 2022 is to be determined.
