Updates to Sectors 68 through 70, Data Validation Time Series Products

The data validation (DV) time series products (i.e., *_dvt.fits) for Sectors 68 through 70 have been updated. All other DV product files for Sectors 68 through 70 have not been updated, however.

The files in the new deliveries replace existing archival products with identical file names. The updated data validation time series products can best be identified by examining the "DATE" keyword, which identifies the date that the file was created; any time series file with a DATE of "2023-11-17" corresponds to an updated data product.

We suggest that any/all Sector 68-70 data validation time series product(s) downloaded from MAST prior to 28 Nov 2023 be replaced with an updated version.

Updates to Sector 66, Data Release 92 Products

The data validation products (full- and mini-report PDFs, one-page TCE report summary PDFs, time series FITS files, and DV results XML files) for Sector 66 have been updated. The target pixel and light curve FITS files for Sector 66 have not been updated, however. The data validation module was inadvertently run twice in the SPOC pipeline at NASA Ames. The first delivery included intermixed products from the two runs. The data validation algorithms are deterministic, but time limits while running the DV module can affect results for individual target stars. This update provides a fully consistent set of data validation products for Sector 66.

The files in the new delivery replace existing archival products with identical file names. The updated data validation time series products can best be identified by examining the "DATE" keyword, which identifies the date that the file was created. Any time series file with a DATE of "2023-08-25" corresponds to an updated data product. Furthermore, the generation date ("Date Generated") displayed on the stand-alone one-page TCE summaries should exactly match the generation date on the one-page summaries displayed at the beginning of the data validation mini-report for the same target star.

We suggest that any/all Sector 66 data validation product(s) downloaded from MAST prior to 06 Sept 2023  be replaced with an updated version. After 06 Sept 2023 , the old files will no longer be available.

From 19 Apr 2020:

Sectors 20 and 21 will be replaced with newly exported data files starting 20 Apr 2020.  While the ingest is taking place, the data files will be a disparate set of both the original and the new files.  Once the ingest is complete the check boxes in the data holdings table below will be replaced with 'v2'.

The reasons for this re-delivery include changing how the data quality flags for stray and scattered light are set.  It also includes a correction to the time and to the FFI collateral pixels.  For more information, see the 'Memo' listed next to the data release notes for DRN27 and DRN29. It also includes information on how one can tell the difference between the new and old files.
