We had 266 people pre-register for the conference, due to space and resource limitations, we are unfortunately unable to accept all of the pre-registrants. Our objective during the selection was to accept a group of participants with a range of identities, career stages, and career paths, so that we can all learn from one another and affect broad change in the astronomy community. To select participants in addition to those selected by the SOC to present a talk, we used Entrofy, which is designed to solve this complex optimization problem. In order to be transparent and accountable, we will distribute a report on the details of our selection procedure and criteria during the conference and on this page.
