This page describes how the FIMS team's 1-dimensional spectra of bright stars were extracted.
The FIMS team extracted 1-dimensional L-band spectra of 532 bright stars from the hyperspectral imaging, following the procedure detailed in Jo et al. 2016. Of these, 323 stars were previously observed by the IUE with higher signal-to-noise ratios than the FIMS-SPEAR, and these data were used to validate the FIMS-SPEAR spectra. FIMS-SPEAR spectra of the remaining 209 stars are available at MAST.
