On this page, we'll review each component of the Mission Search user interface.  The example we will use is based on the HST search form: by design, other data collections will use the same or similar components.  When relevant, we will specify any components that are only available in specific data collections.

Major Components Of The Search Form

To guide discussion, it is helpful to define the major components of the Mission Search form.  There are two main areas: the front-page form and the search results table.
